Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Reuben. He was naughty and adventurous and his favourite thing was going on little trips around the world with his family. Small as his hands were, helping prepare dishes in kitchens and enjoying food around the dinner table were his fondest moments! 

 

One day, running between the alleyways of London, he came upon a large signboard that read “Reuben’s Restaurant”. A warm quizzical feeling crept up upon him and he suddenly knew in his heart a calling; that one day he wanted a place just like that. 

 

Fast forward 25 years, Reuben has worked in just about any type of F&B establishment imaginable. His array of experiences include surviving Chinese Tai Chows, flipping burgers and steaks in an American Diner, and eventually running a renowned and refined Modern Malaysian restaurant in KL.

 

Unpretentious and wholesome, Reuben’s creations are inspired by the delights of sharing comfort food. They are an amalgamation of all his travels and experiences, adding a touch of his flair in yielding the new. Usage of quality ingredients is a focus, whilst placing importance in supporting the sustainability of local environments.
